Greeting from Dr Whitney Miller at the Seeds and Roots Center in Bethany, CT. We are a place where the earth is remembered. There is care for you body, mind, and spirit. There is a teaching garden with a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) membership. We have classes on a variety of subjects related to your health and well being. There are therapies to help you including naturopathic care related especially to the environment and chronic illness, massage, mediation class, whole foods nutrition class, and retreats to help you gain skill sets to stay well or recover.
Over the next few weeks we will be developing a website with a calendar for the center. If you would like to know what we are offering, you can visit Seeds and Roots Center. I personally am in the mists of a class on Environmental Medicine by a mentor, Dr.Walter Crinnon and more about him can be found at Crinnion Opinion. What a wonderful resource. And I will be going on my annual retreat to Holy Isle to spiritually reflect. This project is a place to remember the earth and how to make choices for ourselves for peace and compassion.
Thank you to everyone that supported us for the 2016 season. We have greenhouse and high tunnel growing space in Bethany that we are planning for the next season and look forward to growing ecological and nutrient dense greens for you in addition to maple syrup and maple cream. Our Late Spring 2017 CSA will be available shortly. Visit our products page to purchase Maple Syrup!
